#1, it happened with the 1987-1991/1992-1996 trucks too. Also.. how is this merely a facelift? The whole truck is new. |

The 73-79 was just a 67-72 with a new cab and stuff. Also this looks like a facelifted 04-08 to me, not "brand new" Just liike the 06 Ram was the same damn thing as the 02-05 model with just a new frontend. |

Wikipedia is confusing too, they classify all 64-72 A-bodies as the same gen, when it's really 3 gens, 64-65, 66-67 and 68-72, yet, they count the 80-96 F150s as 3 different gens.
This should really be called a facelifted 9th gen instead of 12th gen.

#4, The entire '09 F is new. Not a single visual thing shared with the '04-'08 save for one set of wheels. The mechanicals are the same IIRC. |

Most of the body panels look the same to me
*shrug*
Ah here we go
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/d...rticleId=123590
"The F-150 gets a new hood, grille and front bumper, plus redesigned headlights, rear taillights and side mirrors The full-size truck's side panels appear largely unchanged, except for some new trim pieces."
