this is cool. i cant say the same for the movie since its supposed to have symbolism. gay. the waaskldjf;h;asjn brothers missed the original appeal of speed racer.

The teaser trailer made it look retarded but I've seen more footage of the actual racing and it looks pretty cool. Everything else...eh...I don't know. I mean, Speed Racer is a classic but mostly because it was so hilariously tacky, I don't know why the Wachowski's would think they could make a serious 2-hour long feature from the show but Hollywood's been scraping the bottom of the barrel recently and it was only a matter of time before they started digging up 1970's japanimation. But I know it'll be over stylized and move faster than a sonofabitch and for the new generation of jaded movie goers that'll be more than enough. But then again...what the fuck demographic are they shooting for?
