It's not a chrome grille, so it's not a 2002. It must be a 1998 or 1999, I can't remember when they switched to the black grille.
The Ford v8 has plenty of power to catch any rice boy's shitvic or accrud.

not terribly. vic "inteceptors" hit aerodynamic deficiency at about 120. not enough power. all they do these days is a performance chip and dual exausts. not like the old days of the 440 pi and 429 pi...

Actually some cop cars up here in canada are running a shot of nitrous. Dont know what kinda shot, prolly a 50-75 hp.

the really sweet cop cars were the interceptors in madmax. 351ci Ford Falcon Gts. the yellow ones were crap, old taxis that made 60mph on a good day. Imagine having Max Rockatansky's black on black behind your ass...

Just read about another scary-ass cop car you're all gonna have to worry about. The Ford Super Pursuit (I think that's the name.) It's a Crown Victoria with basically the Marauder suspension setup and a 6.8 liter, propane-fueled V-10 generating 375 horsepower and over 400 ft/lbs of torque. Should be coming into production around 2004. Since that's when I'm graduating from college and becoming a police officer, that sounds about right... I'm drooling over the prospect of driving it.

couldn't do it in a ricemobile, but still possible. When you pass a cop doing 175, they don't even bother...
