#1, It wouldn't be too hard to get one, if you could pay the shipping. Not only are there a ton of them still around in good condition, but they generally don't go for more than about $5000, tops. 4 doors are cheaper than 2 doors, too.

#3, Must be because you're in the rust belt. There's a bloody ton of 1977-1991 Cadillac full-sizers around here....usually driven by old people, and most commonly 1977-1979 models.
