Description:
My Project 87' Conquest TSI, a new salvaged vehicle title is on the way from Harrisburg, I should be able to take delivery of it in about a week, until then, it'll have to wait in the impound lot where all the other abandoned vehicles go to die.

It's no worse than my dash. I have something like 38 buttons on my dash and everything is either digital or lights up orange/red/green.

Does that say "bitch to clean" in the dust on your dash?

The interior looks like it would be pretty nice with some Armorall and a vacuuming.

I'd avoid Armorall... too many tires, vinyl tops and interiors have been ruined because of it.

#6, Eh? I've been using the stuff for years, and it tends to have pretty much the opposite effect.

#7, I've heard stories of Armor-All being harmful for vinyl over the long term.
Example: http://www.epinions.com/review/Armo...nt_231006768772
My dad used to put Armor-All on the vinyl top on his '75 Celica (owned '76-82) and it eventually began to shrink and had to be replaced.

I've used it on everything I've ever owned and never had a problem

#8, People say that about every automotive product out there. I also had someone try to convince me not to use STP Oil Treatment because "that stuff tears up your engine."

#11, I've never heard that one....but if it's true, practically every engine I've ever had should be ruined.

#12, Yeah, among the hot rod crowd, there's a bunch who claim that fram filters have elements that don't filter enough junk out, and have a bypass valve that opens too easy and lets unfiltered oil through, but I'm a religious oil changer, every 3000, and the Explorer my family has w/ 240,000 miles used Frams it's whole life, and still doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil.

I belive when you hand grenade an engine, the oil filter is always an easy scapegoat.
