Chevrolet Blazer passing by my house. I think it's a pretty good "action shot."

I've noticed something.

Whenever someone is tracking a moving car with a camera - they never get it just right. They always focus on the nose or a few feet out in front of the nose as if they were leading the car along.

I've found that if you put the center of your focus on the B-pillar and not the front of the car or along its intended path - you nail every shot with the moving car squarely in the middle of the frame.

#2, Not sure. The speed limit on the highway there is 55, but it seems like just about everybody but me does 60-65.

I took this photo almost exactly two years ago as an early test photo with my digital camera, the day I bought it. Not sure why I never uploaded it before, I guess I just figured it wasn't interesting enough.

#1, I always point to 71722 and 65994 as evidence that it's possible, just not easy.
