There's a reason why GM got in trouble, this isn't it.

I'm sorry, but a 1935 Chevrolet, by today's vehicle standards, is a horrible car.

Yes, as a collectible, nostalgic, classic vehicle, it's glorious, but don't try to pretend that it's a more capable or refined vehicle than what's on the market today.

Man, GM is really having trouble moving the old models this year.

You are completely correct but it was a car for its time all too many of the cars GM makes now just don't fit into today's world, GM is for the most part still stuck in 1995.

#7, In 2002, GM was stuck in 1995. Ever since Bob Lutz came in and kicked out all the bean-counters, insisted on improved materials, interiors, and closer build-tolerances for assembly, along with encouraging creation of exciting halo-vehicles, GM has made real strides to improve itself.

It's still not at the top of the competitiveness pyramid, but I'd say it's only, at most, 2 or 3 years behind.

I wouldn't necessarily call a 1935 Chevrolet a horrible car by modern standards, just inappropriate for practical modern usage. In terms of operation it's the equivalent of say, a Kawasaki Gator.
