If you're going to cover your window with newspaper, why even bother?

Y'know, I look at this, and, really... why continue driving this car in this condition? It's essentially worth nothing, it very likely gets shitty gas mileage, and it probably isn't terribly reliable... just get a Cavalier or Tempo from the '80s for a few hundred bucks, and they'd probably be in much better shape and more fuel efficient...

I admit, it's probably a bit "cooler" to drive something like this versus an '80s econobox...

The "antique vehicle" plates are a nice touch.

Could see this in some '90s cop drama, where the detective with a debilitatingly dark past, barely keeping his life together, dresses like a slob, and is always one official reprimand away from being fired.. this would be his personal car.

To me it looks like something from an unsolved mysteries re-enactment about a crime that happened in 1979 as a stand in for a "1978 Malibu"

#5, "…two days later, passersby reported seeing Henry's car in a wooded area 10 miles away from his father's house. When authorities arrived to investigate, it had gone. The car, and Henry Stepanik, have never been seen since. If you, or anyone you know, has any information regarding Henry Stepanik, please contact the Renfro County Sheriff's Office or the state bureau of investigation."

#6, sounds like Dexter Stefonik, who did vanish from Wisconsin in the early 1980s and who had a 1978 Omirizon.

#7, Wait, really? I completely made that up for a comment thread a while back (and simply reused it here)

#9, It's an odd coincidence, but, honestly, I used the last name I did because it was the last name of a character from Down Periscope.

#4, Sorta reminds me of the '90s made-for-tv "Midnight Run" sequels, where Jack Walsh drove a beat-up Chevy Nova. I think it was a 1973-1974, though.
