At least Mopar was still -trying- by '73... I can't imagine that the engines weren't emasculated, but it would be a simple matter to stick in an earlier, more powerful engine. I love the hood scoops on these Roadrunners.

Yeah, they had the 426 Hemi in the '70. Personally, I like the styling of this one... it's just, I don't know, mean looking.

I like the 71 Roadrunner best. As for 73 my friends mom has a Sundance this year thats Sweet. I like the Road Runner stripe with the little happy suns on the side.

Hmm...Dodge Superbird. Never heard of that one. This car would look better if the chrome wasn't painted over. And yes, those wheels look much better on a van.

Hmmmmmm....Dodge Superbird? Maybe Chysler had the "Neon" approach back then too...Dodge and Plymouth. (JUST KIDDING) I know that they really made that car in the same factory as the Dodge Nova.

no, you're thinking of the Buick GS-T. The Oldsmobile AMX Stage 1 has a Max Wedge 8.0 Liter V10 Shortstar with VVTL-i.

Very damn popular back in the day, for whatever reason. You can get these CHEAP at pretty much any swap meet you care to go to these days.
