I heard about this on the radio yesterday when they were still looking for him, before the high-speed pursuit. Strange that the article says he was driving a white Suburban, the announcer had said the creep was in a tan 2003 Town Car. Wonder if he stole the Suburban or something.

If he wanted to die, it's a shame he didn't just take himself out instead of killing all those innocent people.

yeah, my wife was only two blocks away from this intersection when this part of the chase happened.

GR Police are actually pretty good - they seem fairly uncorrupt and don't hand out gobs of speeding tickets. I've never *knock on wood* got a speeding ticket in the city limits, even though I normally go 10-15 over (like everyone else).
