I almost feel like running that description through Google Translate, to and from Swahili, would produce something more coherent.

Whatever translator was used here apparently translated "car" into "because."

#2, Some interesting information here: http://www.automotoportal.com/artic...d-by-red-barons

It could be a fake, since the two known cars are accounted for, but it certainly looks legit. Perhaps this is a third car that has been uncovered since that article was published in 2006, or perhaps one of the two remaining cars just deteriorated REALLY fast.

I remember this thing when it was featured in C&D. It was in the "Top 10 Frankenstein Cars" spread.

#4, The main picture looks like the same shot that was printed in the 2001 Car & Driver issue, so this could be the same car that was featured in Skid's link which is an article from 2006 that describes the car as freshly restored at great expense from a decrepit state the year before.

#3, What is the second 'known' car? The black one is the same car as the restored red one, painted black sometime after it sold at auction about 7 years ago.

#6, Apparently I misread the article a couple of years ago, and saw that two of a Jaguar mentioned further down are accounted for. This car is one of a kind, though.
