As a huge Pixar fan, and quite fond of the first Cars movie, I must say that Cars 2 sucked. Big time.

#1, I enjoyed it. I was constantly scanning the screen, looking for little details and I got the impression that Pixar made the film they wanted to make and not what Disney asked them to.

#2, Oh, the car geek part of it was excellent, no doubt... but as a piece of motion picture entertainment, it was retreaded schlock.

#3, Oh sure. It was a mash of parts of the original and a spy thriller but I still found it an entertaining way to pass two hours and would rather give my ticket money to Pixar than to the hacks who made the fifth Final Destination.

#4, You make a valid point. I'd rather see a bunch of awesome CGI vehicles rather than a bunch of teenagers get ripped apart by worse CGI.

Cars 2 would have been the best movie ever made if I had seen it when I was five.

#1, I haven't seen it, but as soon as I heard that it features a fist fight between two cars in a bathroom, I knew something was going to horribly wrong with it.
