'50s-style, my ass. Nobody in the '50s would have even built a 4-door, let alone chop and channel it to this level. 1950s rodders would have laughed at this car, and its owner.

So it's '50s style all the way, with an engine first introduced in 1966 and a transmission first offered in 1962. Interesting.
