The Pacific Coast Dream Machines show in Half Moon Bay this year featured a demolition derby. Yes that's a suicide-door Lincoln Continental. There were two of them.

Damn I've grown to resent demolition derbies. I think the Coronet/Fury wagon might be the rarest loss in this group.

There's a guy who posts on a diecast board who buys classics off craiglists up to $10,000 to derby them. Why? "Because if you want a car bad enough, you can make it again." I think this Continental is one of his works of "motoring art" as he calls it.
