The day-glo Coral color suits it nicely.

Pastel colors just can't be taken seriously on any car built after about 1965, but will be totally unquestioned on anything from there back to about 1955... wonder why that is?

#2, That was the era when pastels were considered fashionable. Back then, you could even get a Rolex watch in this color. Seriously.

#3, Yeah, er, that's just what I want, a watch the color of a salmon fillet.....

Though, by the same token, you can tell which houses in the neighborhood have a high chance of being owned by senior citizens, based on the fact that they still have their pastel turquoise or coral window shutters and striped awnings :)

#4, My grandma's old house has a mint green and pastel pink kitchen with an avocado stove. :D

The house on the other side of the fence in my backyard... it was *recently* painted a very VERY pastel green. The entire house.

Senior citizen? Nope. Annoying-as-hell early-20-something that sets off fireworks all year long, revs the shit out of his beat-ass Mustang and Harley all night long, and plays horrible HORRIBLE renditions of Nirvana and Metallica songs on his guitar and drums all day long... Don't know WHY he painted his house... the roof is falling apart, the lawn is dead, the driveway is crumbled... why did he feel that the paint was the only thing he'd invest in?

Sorry... rant mode off.
