These things are supposed to be pretty terrific. Cadillac benchmarked the E46 3 series, arguing that it was the more "driver-focused" than subsequent models, which seems like a good start. |

#1, Well, the E46 is an evolution of E36 with massively improved chassis stiffness among other things, and it's not THAT fat and insulated yet. Then again my ex-boss bought himself a E46 M3 and after taking it to a track day described it as a 'fat pig, and not all that impressive power-wise'. His track toy is a prepped E36 Coupe with a 4.4l V8. |
