Hmm.. Is it true the baack windows on those Malibus didn't roll down?

#1, Yep...no downsized A/G sedan or wagon had roll-down windows in the back. The 1981+ models, as seen here, restyled the roofline a bit and added flip-out vent windows at the back to appease constant customer complaints.

#2, Why was that? Is it due to not having enough room in the back doors to house a fully-lowered window?

#3, GM apparently thought it wasn't necessary because of their "state of the art" ventilation system, so the bean-counters thought it would save cost.
