Description:
A big red Ford. Looks like an LTD, but, it's missing the little grille badge and bumperettes that should be there.... so I'm not sure. The sign in the window was unhelpful, just calling it a "72' Ford Sedan". On the plus side, it's immaculate and he only wants $2800.

I've always thought that that front fascia was quite handsome.

#1, The painted wheels and dog dishes make it look like a fire chief's car though, I'd rather have black. Other than that, if I didn't have too many cars already, I'd snap this one up in a heartbeat.

It's a Custom 500, the base-model full-size Ford that year. Note the chrome-less B-pillar; a Galaxie 500's would be chrome, and an LTD would be a harhdtop with no B-pillars at all.

That price is a good deal if it's not hiding a huge amount of rust. These "poverty pack" cars aren't often seen today.

#5, I checked out the fenderwells and rockers, and it's not rusty. Must've been someone's garage baby. The low price is probably because with the cost of gas, nobody is going to buy it as a daily driver, his best chance is to market it as a cheap summer cruiser you'd drive on weekends, and maybe take the kids too.

The lack of "poverty" trim level cars of ANY model as time goes on is one reason why I really didn't want to get rid of my lowly Sport Coupe Camaro :) The only 3rd gens I see around here are IROCS or RS at best, with maybe 1 in 15 being a Berlinetta.

It's also freshly inspected, so I know the brakes/tires/steering aren't falling apart under there too. Like I said, great deal, I just don't have room for another.
