I may have to bite the bullet and buy new taillights for this, because now they're the WORST looking part of it, full of tiny stress cracks and someone before me had some kind of taillight or blackout covers on them, because they glued them on with epoxy, and later pried them off, leaving behind small patches of semi-molten/bubbly plastic

#3, They're not hard to find, and all styles of third gen Camaro lights are interchangeable. You've already got the best-looking style, though.

#4, They still have unsold original stock of these trim level, a bit-marked up, but that's what you get for wanting good ones and not salvage ones that'll be in the same condition

Might do the front turn signal lenses too at this point... the ones I have are also originals, so they're a bit hazy and whited-out.

I have an extra set of taillights for my 6K whenever that project finally progresses. They're off of 77635. My original lights are a little worn, and we decided to grab a set of good-condition STE lights while they were available. Yeah, I think they're the same lights as all later 6000s, but we also grabbed the wiring harness for them because the one on my car is broken and sends a faulty message to the driver information center that the brake lights don't work. According to my dad who attempted to repair the harness years ago, pressing the brake causes the three brake light bulbs on one side to light up sequentially like the turn signal on a late-model Mustang.
