#2, I can hardly get gas without someone coming over to know more about it, I honestly didn't expect that to happen when it was put back together. I mean, even college chicks think it's neat and talk about it .... if I were 10 years younger, it would be getting me dates.....

1998: '80s Camaros are disposable/throwaway hooning cars for teenagers and thugs.
2013: '80s Camaros, in nice condition, are now seen as collectible/classic cars.

Nice.

#4, Yeah, just about everyone who chats with me has a story that starts "Back in college...." or "When I was a kid...." I remember when your average High School lot had several of these in it.... it wasn't abnormal for a lucky kid to have an IROC either.

Okay, so the transmission in this thing died two years ago, and after two years of muddling around about "Yeah, I'll get to that" I finally did. Actually got the guys who rebuild our tow truck transmissions at the heavy-equipment shop to do it. (They don't advertise it loudly, but they'll do anything you bring them, including TH-350s) Beat the Aamco quote by a thousand bucks..... wow.... that's good too, because I'm not even going to try and get it reinspected on the tires it has now that have started dry rotting, ordered new ones for this Thursday.
