Description:
playing this a shitload these days. definitely a major hobby of mine now in addition to working on/hooning about with cars. may as well see if theres much guitar interest here.

How long have been playing? I've always considered taking up the guitar, but the learning curve always seemed a little daunting.

#1, started out playing a 50 dollar craigslist bass in 2011-mostly because the bass only requires one note at a time instead of chords, like guitar hero. just fiddled around with it while i watched tv/netflix/youtube, learning how each note fit with others; what sounded good together and whatnot. watched playthrough and tutorial videos on youtube, too.
if you wanna get into it, id suggest just picking up something cheap off craigslist or from a pawn shop and just fuckin around with it til it starts clicking.

#2, "Fuckin' around with it til it starts clicking" is also a way to learn how to handle a firearm, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I've got a cheapo six-string acoustic. I should really just pick it up and strum on it randomly.....over time, surely I'll pick up something from it.
