Until Dodge revamped it, red-orange was kinda extinct too. (Not unlike the Vega, actually) Now you see it on Rams/Calibers/Avengers. Light "Creamsicle" orange seems to be gone forever, having not made it out of the 70's alive.....

Another color I find refreshing to see is pine-green--or any darker green for that matter. Toyota's got it, Ford's got it, and I know its available on the C7.
