One thing I guess I never thought about... do all Electras/Park Avenues from this generation have the reverse-opening hood, or was that an option?

#1, I think it's all? Not entirely sure, but I keep wondering myself.

I believe they all have it, I recall reading about it in an old consumer reports test drive.

#3, The wording on the Wikipedia leads me to believe that all '85-'90 Electras had the reverse-opening hood.

Car still holds a very dear place in my heart, since my grandfather had an '89 Electra Park Avenue. Apparently, he tested ALL the "large" FWD GM vehicles at the time, and the Buick was the only one that took bumps without A) shaking/shimmying and B) wallowing way too much afterwards.

#5, That's what my grandpa thought in 1980 when he bought one.
