Super Beetle, no less. The skinny bumper combined with the curved windshield makes it a 1973.

#3, Thank you. Whilst I'm good at determining make/model and approximate year (or generation), the detail-oriented stuff in terms of trim, lighting, etc, has never really been all that well-known to me :(

#4, same here. On more modern cars, I'm fairly good at it, and obvious '58/'59/'60/'61/'62/'63/'64 GMs I'm fairly good at :)

#5, Well, the '58-'64 period for ALL domestic cars covered quite a bit of NOTICEABLE styling changes, year after year... pretty easy for me to tell '55-'62 Mopars of any kind apart...

For me, the challenge is correctly dating 1977-1990 GM B-bodies or '98+ Ford Panthers. :P

#2, The easiest way to tell a Super is by the larger, bulging front with the squared-off trunk. Here are two 1971 models from roughly the same angle.
