I can't look at Dart Sports from this era without thinking a writer to Muscle Car Review magazine back in the '90s, talking about his Dart Sport with the Hang 10 package, and how it left late-model Mustang GTs in the weeds. The editor responded, "Maybe they should have called them Hang 5.0s."

I got a good chuckle out of it, anyway.

#3, Eh, Chrysler small blocks last pretty well, as do the Torqueflite and 833 transmissions. The big issue with Chryslers of this era is rust.

The Valdarts around my area never seem to die, even in San Francisco they hold up remarkably well with just a little maintenance.
