I'd laugh at the "Four-wheel disc brakes" badging... but, of all the vehicles that I've driven on a regular basis, only the Infiniti G20 and Suzuki SX4 had discs all 'round...

#1, wait. Your Two has rear drums? (At least I hope it doesn't have front drums too. )

#2, Much like carburetion, I imagine front drums would be almost impossible to find on a modern vehicle ANYWHERE in the world. (Does the PakSuzuki Mehran still have a carbureted engine?)

But, yeah, the Demio has rear drums.

We junked an 86' Pontiac at the shop recently, that proudly advertised it had, "FUEL INJECTION"

Part of my fun in shooting older cars is looking at the badging. I especially like looking at the fuel doors on older vehicles that say "Diesel fuel only" or "Unleaded fuel only" or "Gasoline only" or some such.

#5, I remember for a while some GM cars were so proud of their ABS that it was stamped on the damn alloy wheels...

#6, Yep, and on the damn bodyside molding. My friend's 1993 Astro has it on the door molding, and on the rear barn door.

My Pontiac's glovebox door has Electronic Fuel Injection. I guess since 1985 was the first year for EFI on the 2.8 that was kind of a big deal.

I always noticed that on the GM cars, too. It always came across like, "HAY GUISE DID WE MENTION WE HAVE THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEMS?".

Then there's the 87 - 88 IROCS that not only have "FUEL INJECTION" badges, but "TUNED PORT FUEL INJECTION" ones at that. They never put "THROTTLE BODY INJECTION" badges on the sport coupes, wonder why? :p

#10, on my old GP it had ABS on the fucking center caps. Mind you, my ABS never actually worked, since it was a $500 throwaway rustbucket. Consequently, my last "beater" Taurus didn't have working ABS either. Quite lovely when its snowing like hell.

#10, My dad's '71 GMC has a sticker on the tailgate announcing that it has disc brakes. Apparently front discs were a new option introduced for 1971.

Soon GDI will be weird. Oh, my fault. My watch is slow about 4 years.
