It just so happens that this car is a '73 or a '74 model Challenger cloned to look like a '70. Probably cheaper than buying a real '70.

#5, I think the front clip was the only thing they really changed on these cars in their brief 4 or 5 year model run

And for a moive stunt car, who's going to check the engine and interior for a match? Only guys like us would notice the discrepancy, and the 70's had the big, unrestricted, unsmogged engines, so that's natrualy the one you'd want to clone

I wish they cloned later models for stunts. Better yet, I wish they'd just put fake bodies on Tempos or something for stunts.
