Yep... too bad for them they still have to play in the same division as the defending Super Bowl champs (my pick to repeat, BTW), what should be the most improved team in the league (the Bills; just getting Bledsoe makes them infinitely better if he can stay healthy) and a solid playoff contender in the Jets.

Rarely. But when I do, it's as MadMaxR1970. But it's a rare occurrence.

I see a lot of Penn State themed cars up here during football season, PSU fans treat it like a bizzare religion...... I say, it's just football

I wonder if Penn State has anything on Oklahoma for football fanaticism.... probably. We have an OU-themed school bus converted into the ultimate tailgate vehicle, a bunch of custom-painted RVs, a flag on damn near every car in town, and a custom-painted Model T at our games.

OU fans sound much more rabid, but PSU fans make up for it w/ sheer numbers, unfortunatley, they're the most fair-weathered fans east of the Mississippi, I'm sure of that

Bet they were pissed last season then, huh? We have no fairweather fans. We sold out every seat in Memorial Stadium for every game of a 3-8 season. Now THAT I don't get.

We win a game - Coach Paterno is God
We lose a game - Coach Paterno sucks and needs fired

Nevermind the fact the guy hasn't had a conscious thought since 89' and now that he's got the career wins record, the only way he's leaving the organization is in a pine box

And the fans can't park to save thier life, 2 years as a traffic cop, I know......

It doesn't matter whether our fans can park or not, because we have essentially no parking. Ever been to Fenway Park? It's about like that, as far as parking goes. So we have enterprising locals charging $15 to $30 to park in their driveways and yards. Yeah, the game's really passed JoePa by; time for him to pass the torch. We're lucky to have two of the best young coaches in the game in the Stoops brothers; it's only a matter of time until one of them leaves and we have Stoops v. Stoops in the national title game.

PSU is still an agricultural college, has an extensive dairy program, 17 acres of fields plus dozens of parking lots on campus, and folks STILL will do the most idiodic things......... or try to anyway.......

The Penn State "fans" are ridiculous. I like and work about 3 hours from the main campus and still, I could go into my work parking lot and count at least 5 vehicles with not just bumper stickers, but "GO PENN STATE" and stupid paws all over their car. Drive in the college town and it's sickening, every car is plastered with blue and white crap and every house seems to have a Penn State flag over a USA flag. ANd most people who participate in this insanity probably never even stepped a foot into a PSU classroom, let alone a high school. They're all rednecks to the extreme and really annoying. I walked around the campus for a high school trip I had wearing my University of Miami Hurricanes jacket, on purpose!
