Description:
In February of 1972, 44 year old Amos Shook disappeared without a trace in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Last summer his 1968 Pontiac Catalina was dredged from a local lake, with Shook still at the wheel.

This is getting to be a habit around here... is there any lake out there that DOESN'T have a 68' model american car at the bottom of it?

Looks like it held up remarkably well for being underwater for 42 years. The frame must be a mess though.

#2, Actually, things underwater don't rust, very fast (no fresh oxygen transfer) assuming it's freshwater and not saltwater. (Chemically-induced rust DOES happen)
