I registered to win one of these in 2002... you had to pick one of the "Team Chevy" drivers, and if you picked the one that finished highest, you'd be eligible to win the car; I decided to pick Jeff Green, who had the least positive results leading up to the race.

He finished highest... I was actually a bit giddy, thinking I actually had a shot, since I don't imagine THAT many other people had picked him...

[edit] It was the 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo 400 at Richmond. Jeff Green finished third.

#4, That's usually what I plan for when I enter to win cars. I almost never actually want the vehicle being raffled.

The yellow '69 Chevelle SS 396 I was once a finalist for was probably the best one. The guy who took that car home still owns it and regularly takes it to shows, so I'm happy for him.
