#4, Or at least he used to.
Cody split the Neon's SRT4's block after 80,000 miles back in 2012 - and rather than admit that his dicking-about days were over - he found a former rental Chrysler 200 with a 18.5% loan and kept on rolling. Considering the change in badges - Cody adopted a slightly more upmarket attitude for his perceived slightly more upmarket car. He told everyone who would listen during his shift at BK that he drove a 'Baby 300'.
But there's only so far you can go with that kind of thinking - and with an annual personal budget that has an allowance for Monster Energy drinks and PSN Premium and an iPhone - it wouldn't be long before Cody's upmarket facade fell away. He defaulted on the loan - and after the threatening letters came in Cody thought the best way to outsmart the bank from repossession was to store it at his uncle's garage and drive with him into town. Cody would take the old 200 out on the weekends to flaunt his fading playboy appearance of a paunch and thining hair.
Cody's uncle wanted $20 a week for his taxi service and storage - but since Cody's uncle was a just starting out on a life-long journey of painkiller addiction - within weeks the $20 quickly jumped to $50. Cody wasn't happy - but it still kept him within the realm of looking like a somebody with car that said 'peaked in highschool'.
It wasn't long before Cody's uncle wasn't available to drive Cody to and from work - much less drive anywhere as he was spending more time getting loaded and selling some of his old metal albums and porno mags to keep the money rolling in. Cody's slow-firing synapses realized the risk of having his 'Baby 300' in the hands of a someone nearing the edge of a life-wreacking perscription drug addiction - and had to find another place to park the 200 before the bank found it - or before his uncle would have his hands on a whole $500; a dollar amount his uncle hasn't had since he was Cody's age.
