Renamed "Royal Knight" the following year, for reasons I still don't entirely understand.
I always assumed it was because they made other colors available, but I've also seen some vague references online to a lawsuit over a trademark on the name "Black Knight" when used on cars being previously held. |

#2, Would have to be a coincidence, since a trademark rivalry would only apply in the automotive industry. Hence, you could start making "Mustang"-brand floor polish, but any usage of "Mustang" associated with cars or automotive products would result in a lawsuit from Ford.
Interesting timing, though. |

#3, They way I understand it is that your floor polish company can't start making Mustang-branded cars - and Ford can't start making floor polish named after the Mustang. |
