I can only assume the reason you don't see more of these is because, like 90's holographic-foil variant-cover #1 relaunch issues of Marvel comic books, people are STILL sitting on plastic-sealed examples in their garages convinced it'll start becoming REALLY valuable any day now as long as it's still original......

#2, I think I may be genetically hard-wired to hate factory retro "hot rods" on principle because I really find it hard to care, even though it's technically the last Plymouth. The only reason I don't really REALLY hate them is because, like the PT Cruiser "inspiring" the HHR, Chevy came along a decade later and did it worse with the SSR.

Honestly, since seeing the one covered on Hoovie's Garage, I kind of dig these.

It's a shame nobody is building anything this interesting anymore.
