Mildly Adambombed interior pic: http://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...5afbbaf12_b.jpg

59,000 miles, so mileage is somewhat higher than the Elantra's (which was about 45,000 at the time of its demise), and it's two model years older. But payments (and insurance) are going to be about the same, and I now have 323 horsepower on tap.

Pros: Quick, sounds nice, drives great on the highway, most of the features I like in a vehicle, and it looks frigging awesome.

Cons: Awkward visibility, low and wide so very difficult to park, incredibly stiff clutch spring with a high release point, and the trunk won't open with the key fob (it only opens from the interior release button, but ONLY when the key is in and turned to accessory - it doesn't work with the engine running or with no key in at all).

Who owns the Tradesman?

#2, Tradesman? You mean the white Ram in the main image?

That's my mother's secondary vehicle. She uses to haul around her yard care stuff, carry parts for her heavy-equipment-tinkering boyfriend, and such. It's also the main vehicle I've been driving since February.

Nice ride. 3.6 I assume? I'm kinda surprised you got in a neutral color instead of, say, red or yellow.

#5, Yeah, 3.6. I don't mind the color, because it's at least broken up by the stripes.

#6, I had a feeling that the stripes would help compensate for what, for you, is a bland color. I, personally, have no issues with black cars :P (obviously)

Honestly, I don't really consider black "bland," per se, just really common, alongside silver, grey, and white.

Hard to tell from the photos; are the windows tinted? Just a personal preference, but tinted windows on a black car looks daaaaamned nice.

#9, They aren't. I might consider a light tint, though.

a shock yellow LT1 is likely going to be my next car. 10 speed though, I don't have much of a desire to have a manual in my DD after doing it for a few years

Been about a year with your Camaro now... how's it holdin' up/how's life with it?

#13, Three years in and about 105k on the odometer, and it gives me no particular trouble. The trunk release is still finicky and the driver's side power window started squealing on its track last summer and hasn't stopped, but it has never failed to get me where I'm going, and it's still pretty fun to drive, too.

#14, Holy shit my brain skipped a beat. It was thinkin' 2022, not 2024 XD

#15, That struck me, but I just assumed you meant a year since I last posted about it in some other thread or something.

It is kind of hard to believe we're almost halfway through this decade, though.

#16, If you notice me saying something obviously incorrect, don't read anything into it. I'm not insinuating anything; I'm just an idiot.
