Apparently French Minis were UK-assembled, and sold under the same Austin, Morris, and later Rover brands.

Looks like "Morris" on the trunk of this one, though I can't be exactly sure.

This one comes back as a 1989 Rover Mini 1.0 liter. Special is the French equivalent of the UK Mini City. Looks like the "M" badge on the back is supposed to read "MINI".

#2, I honestly didn't think it was that new. My classic Mini knowledge is admittedly a bit rusty, though.
