I used to think, "Wow, with the Aspen/Volare then morphing into the Diplomat/Gran Fury, that platform soldiered on for quite a while"... but that was only 13 years. How many cars from the 2000s from the likes of Mopar, and Nissan for that matter, essentially lasted damn near into the 2020s?

I also used to think it ludicrous how long AMC kept the Hornet in production under various guises, for 19 years until the final AMC Eagle rolled off the assembly line, but that still wasn't too far off from what Chrysler did with the LX cars.

#1, Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana probably take the title (you can get them as passenger vans), unless you count the Ford E-Series that's still available as a special order cab-chassis and just got a new grille for 2026.

On topic, this is a very nice example. I love Magnum 500 style wheels.

#2, I'll be damned, the E-Series did just get a facelifted grill!

The Jeep SJ also deserves a shoutout for long production: 1962-1991.
