Description:
1969 Dodge Charger 500, the first "aero" car. It had a flush rear window and different grille treatment. It's one of 392 built, and this one is one of 67 with a Hemi. This car was followed by the Charger Daytona, which was even more aerodynamic, with a pointed nose and a wing on the rear.

Racing Champions used this as the basis for their General Lee model. funny I don't remember the General Lee having exposed headlights and a flush back window

#4, Exactly...but still it was a brick that wasn't aerodynamic enough. That's why they went to the Daytona.
