If it were me, I'd go back and check for evidence of it the next day. And I'd have a .44 Magnum for long-range shots. >:)

He ran into it with his truck, it did nothing to it.
They shot it 20 time, it did nothing to it.
It was breaking limbs off that were over 6 inches in diameter, it did nothing to it.
I dont think going back at night would be smart.
but they went back the next Day and found the limbs and the trail of it.
When this happened it was about 2 in the morning though.

Most communities have a local "monster" except for mine. We just have lots of ghost stories.
Most community monsters are big hairy bigfoot things, but you always hear about the strange ones, too, like this Oklahoma Shitmonster.

There is an old ass historical building which ppl also live in called the 5 Star tavern i believe. Its not far from here. Anyways at night if u look into the attic from the street uwill see a candle lit for the slave (i think) that hung himself up there. U can also see figures moving up there. i wanna know more about that place.

Hey Stang, if you need somewhere to go, have you ever heard of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Marion? I've been reading about it in the Shadowlands database, apparently the grounds of the church (including the graveyard are haunted by a woman in pink holding a knife (!). Nothing you could check out at night, but you could look around and take a few photos. A tape recorder is a must, as well.

#33, The reason I ask is because I'm looking in the Bigfoot sighting register (your story sounds a lot like Bigfoot....the common elements of chasing, bad smell, physical evidence, and large size). I'd like to see if anyone else has reported seeing it.

There is a realy weird place in the woods near me when you walk into it you walk right out on your own path, thats walking in a strait line taking compass readings. Theres also a road with a few houses and some old cemetaries on it that is supposed to be haunted.
