u could but if your all ready getting water inside you got more to fix then just the seals....
and the stink OMG it's bad! 3 friends that had MC's with T-tops wish they never got the damn things, you ever see how big MC T-tops are? If you find one that never had a water prob then u might be good to go but be sure to check it man cause it could end up costing alot of money to fix

I have t-tops... some minor leaks I need to take care of. ... just new seals. Just make sure to take the t-tops off and look for rust!

#21, mustangs did not have a shitload more, unless you think 225 is a shitload. that may be better then 180, but with 2.73 gears it still sucks

monte ss runs about a 15.7 stock... not too thrilling...

but ... it does make a good platform to modify. A full framed car that can take a big block no problem. Lots of available inexpensive chevy engines... a good 350, 427, 454, or 502 can be stuffed in there.

I plan on a GM crate engine for mine... just have to replace the tranny first (mine leaks a bit and doesn't quite shift right)... plus I want to have the tranny a bit more built. Want a 330+ hp engine and add a 125 shot of nitrous just for giggles. Anymore hp than that and I would worry about busting the fairly weak 7.5" rear - the Grand National rear ends were so much better.

so if you buy an SS, you can get away with about a 300hp engine with the stock tranny. and roughly 400hp with the rear as long as you don't use slicks!!!!!!
