Following the death of Bruce Lee in 1973, many acting martial artists, including such future luminaries as Chuck Norries, Jackie Chan, and Sonny Chiba were turned to to take his place. But one oft-overlooked face is that of Emilio Posterboard.
Emilio starred in Snake Up Eagle's Ass in 1972, which was overshadowed by Master Lee's body of work. But following Lee's death, Emilio went on to star in Cupped Hand, Empty Mind in 1973, Master of the Deadly Flatulence and Dragon Munching on Gall Bladder in 1974, and The Secret of the Disciples of the 36th Order of the Deadly Shaolin Mantis Fist in 1976. But his 15 minutes were over, and he was last spotted working in a Burger King in Sherman Oaks in 1988. |
