Rover Cavalier? What is it? V6? I6? I4? FWD? RWD?

Well, anyway, looks nicer than MY Cavalier...(American Chevrolet Cavalier...nothing like this car.)

It's Vauxhall Cavalier (Opel in Europe), 2.0 FWD 1993

I thought Vauxhall made the British Cavvy.

The early Vauxhall Cavaliers ('80s models) looked exactly like the Chevy Cavalier with a different frontend.

#2, haHA! My engine has .2 more liters! (Well, "Litres", since you're a Brit...)
And my car is ONE year newer!

OK, that was enough bravado for one day.

Mate, we don't usually have cars over 2.5 here normally new cars have 1.8 in them anyway! plus we pay too much for petrol.

#8, One thing I have to remember if I ever go to Europe...NEVER fill my tank with "gas"...unless it's a Diesel powered car...heard too many horror stories of American tourists doing that...

Wow, a fellow Brit.
Any of you guys know if this Cavalier shares a platform with yours? The coupe version looks very similar.

#16, The early ones did. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/3058/ , the blue one. I think they shared engines, too, considering that one has so many miles on it (U.S. engines are generally built to run longer, since Americans drive more).

I don't know whether these share the platform with the Chevrolet or not.
