#5, in the owners own words:
One catch is that it is not a real Lamborghini. It is a replica of the 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT. the chassis is custom from a Fiero. I actually started building the car in 2000 and did not finish totally until October '01. To answer a frequently asked question, the whole project cost me roughly $46,000 Plus, there were approximately $20,000 In donated parts and labor. It really broke the bank. To anyone considering a project like this; study up, ask around and know what you are getting into. The garage you see is my bodyshop. I would have liked to include pictures of the build but me and my brother didnt think it would take two-and-a-half years to build and plus wait for extra cash flow for problems or projects that we did not expect to occur. This build required a lot more time and money than anyone can imagine. The advantages of a replica is that, #1 no ordinary person can tell the difference! This car weighs about 1000 lbs. less and has 150 more hp than a real Lamborghini!!! Cheaper insurance!
