#21, They are from the factory, this Supra has a 3M-STE thrown into it. It's the same engine used for the JGTC Supra's. It's a 2.2liter 4 banger making about 700hp.

#24, Well, going up to 700 HP isn't really a downgrade............

#24, Certain rules for the JGTC probably limit the engine size for that class. I'm no expert at the subject but a couple reasons could be the 4-cyc weights less, probably makes a better weight distribution, and maybe they wanted to make something different. Maybe there is a reason the company is called "Top Secret"?

#26, If it's engine rules, then it's probably displacment, they usualy divide up car classes by total car weight, or engine size as in displacment.

#25, I dunno, Id think you could push a little more power out of a 6 than a 4...

#26, I know absolutely nothing about JGTC, so.. ok.

#27, Yeah, that sounds about right.

To futher the point that they probably put these engines in to balance weight, take a look at how far back this little thing sits. http://www.superstreetonline.com/su...image_large.jpg
