Most of my drivin' music is country, and some of the faster stuff just kicks ass in the right car. "Kick A Little" by Little Texas comes to mind, |

I can only read two stickers: Eternal Tattoos, Inc., and "I (heart) Hooters." |

Okay, just looked up Mad Max trivia on IMDB. It mentions the ACDC connection, and that blue van that gets plowed into by the interceptor was actualy owned by Director George Miller who put it in because he was low on cash! |

Talk about dedication to your craft... sacrificing your personal car for a movie! |

Somthing like 20% of the planned chase footage never got shot, but hey, at a budge of $400,000 that grosses 100M, who cares? He coudl afford a new one

yup. George Miller's old Mazda Bongo van. And no, it did not have it's indicator on...
Also, one of the police cars (the one that went thru the trailer) was originally a taxi.
Also also, they only had one set of mag wheels, so they got swapped around.
Also also also, goose gets his cast on the leg that he DIDN'T lay the bike on.
Also also also also, goose manages to start his bike with the gearshift.
Lots more where that came from. |

They filmed the chase scenes in reverse... i.e. there's a scene where Big Bopper (one of the interceptors) gets trashed, but it's back in the movie again later. Presumably it was repaired in the movie. Actually, it was totalled in the early scene, so that was the last scene they used that car in. |

the first chase was one of the last scenes to be shot, because they knew they were going to wreck two of their 3 police cars. It looked like they had a lot of cars, by putting them everywhere, but they only had 3. |

I know, that makes it even funnier! Other names that have no buisness being given to cars include Aztek (wrong for 2 reasons), Vibe, Gremlin (somthing that destroys machinery!) and we all know what "Nova" in spanish means |

That movie was just painful. They treated a Charger Daytona as a crappy white-trash beater. |
