I like this earlier, more restrained iteration better than, say, the one on the Bandit's car. But yeah, it looks sharp on this one.

76' TA, big block before emissions, so it's got POWER! But wait, a yellow car that's ACTUALY FAST? Get out!

'76 had emissions, didn't it? The 400 in these things made 220 hp stock, but a simple exhaust and cam upgrade produces outstanding power. The 400 had a lotta potential.

I'm not sure, I know that in 79', the last year for the 400 big block, they had it bogged down with emissions controls. It also had dual exhaust, but both pipes shared a common catalytic converter, so they really robbed it of performance.

Screaming Chicken is just a nickname for the huge Firebird decals from the '70s.

How rare are these? I can't seem to remember seeing a lot of 'em. Maybe that's why I want one.

Who am I kidding, I want some of everything. In my dream world my garage would have more floor space than the house.

#11, 2nd gen Trans Am's arent "Rare" on the whole, but pre 76's generaly are much rarer than 77's and later, and by #'s alone, the 79' is the most common

Wow. That's the third 2nd gen Firebird in a row I stumbled on just by hittin' the Ricecop logo. Sweet. And why the fuck do people call it a screaming chicken?

#14, 'Cause that's what it looks like. It looks like a chicken that just got kicked in the ass.
