My Aspen ruled. One of the best driving American cars I've ever been in. Anyone who says they're one of the worst cars ever built is full of shit.

The only problem I saw evidence of was rust. Mine had quite a bit on the rockers and around the taillights (unusual for a MS car that had been kept under a carport since new).

#4, Rust was the bane of these cars exsistance, I think that I only ever saw a grand total of 1 in my life that wasn't in a junkyard or in the background of an old TV show. THey just didn't last more than 5-8 years before completely rusting out.

#8, ...they wouldn't fare much better in Florida either...PA may be the "Roadsalt State", but we're the "Ocean-air salt State"... so we get the effects all year 'round.

Some old guy who works at Heritage State Park in Fall Reeve has one. It's a 78 or 79 coupe, orange and in VERY good condition. Saw it there today again.
