#2, They are. In a slow and risky manner called street racing. All we can do is hope they dont kill too many other people in the process. |

I will only drive big American cars with big engines that waste gas and participate only in "organized drag racing." Few ricers know the term. Sad thing is: I'm in thier age group... so it gives me a bad rap... sort of a guilt by association thing. |

#6, As long as you don't have the mentality, I think you are in the clear. At least I hope so.
Gotta love good old american iron. Good, strong, stable, and easily controled despite their gigantic size weight and power. Can't wait till I can buy one of my own. It'll probably be a 68-70 Cutlass or Malibu. |

Cutlass would be my choice... not as many around... right now im looking at a 69 Malibu with a 307 and Powerglide. Those would get the boot and a big block and TH 400 would find their way into it.

#8, Nice choice. The Cutlass would also be a helluva lot cheaper. |

I like the less common GMs. Hell my daily driver is an Oldsmobile. |

My dream car would be the one that Car Craft showed a while back. The red and black Malibu built up by GM to showcase all their new parts for old cars. |

That GTO is making me salivate. What a beautiful car... I had a 68 Lemans that I sold last year... white with a 350/TH 400 combo. |

I needed money and it needed work... I was sad to see her go, but I think the guy that bought her is gonna perform a full resto. |

That was the condition of the sale. Call me a purist, but I hate it when people molest, mistreat or destroy the integrity of a car. |
