Okay. First I saw the body and wheels. Both look to be in reasonably good condition in this pic. Then I saw the foglamps. Tasteless, but easy enough to fix. Then I saw the windshield banner and wing.
MUST KILL.

you know, I though these things were a bit faster. Got into a stupid highway speed contest with one of these on the highway going up a steepish hill. My 5.0L powered Mountaineer ended up passing the guy and pulling away (both coming off of a highway ramp) even though he was quite pissed about me gaining and then passing him... (the guy cut me off in order to get on the ramp)...
I thought he was running the 3.8L until I saw the side badges ...

well you only had 225HP and a AOD, plus its rather heavy. now the SC on the other hand will haul some ass

#6, well, the v8 ones have pretty much the same hp and torque as your suv, but they weigh less, so i dont see why they would be slower...weird

Crappy gearing and a torque converter with a stall point too low for the engine.

What's the gearing on the truck? Also, the '94-97 cars had the 4.6 SOHC which had a bit less low-end punchy than the 5.0 they used before that.
