Description:
A old Subaru (methinks Justy) with 4WD.
That was waaay back in the day - when AWD hadn't been invented yet. The only ones that had 4WD back in the 80's were Subaru - posibly Audi (prior to AWD - i don't know) - and AMC with their eagle.
Had AMC held out for a few more years - The AMC eagle could have had a place in the WRC. |

Yah, I think it's a justy. BTW, the Justy also had an available Continuously Variable transmission. A bit ahead of their time?

THe Justy had wagon and Festiva-like hatchback versions, both were sold in the late 80's early 90's as the 4WD wagon craze finaly died
I seriously doubt AMC would have gotten into the WRC, they had pulled out of WC in the late 70's, and pretty much abandoned their racing programs at that point |

I think one that was really cool was the Olds Toronado Pikes Peak racer. Yes, they existed. |
