Now that the basics have been taken care of, we're moving on to creature comforts, we've added a CD player, amp, and two better-than-stock speakers, a tow hitch and we're working on a minfridge and TV/DVD console too |

#7, We're working on it too, we've got the radiator and vaccum lines plumbed, we're just finishing trying to sort out the butchered wiring system. |

#8, god, I hate that.
You'd honestly be better off ripping the entire wiring harness out, buying a brand new one for the motor you have, cutting out everything you don't need and then putting that in. Otherwise you'll spend years tracking electrons through the dashboard at 2AM. |

It's what I should have done with my CRX ages ago. I can't tell you how many hours were dedicated to finding shorts in the butchered stock harness. I should have just bought an Integra harness and been done with it, but no.... |

#9, The big hold up was the radiator, the SBC and Porsche radiators are mirror images, inlet/outlets on opposite sides, and the stock chevys wont fit in the bay, so we had to order an aluminum racing radiator that had the right dimensions and the outlets in the right places. we also added a 16'' electric fan to it to keep it running cool. Among the parts we've been using to jury rig all the parts have inculded an electrical junction box for the ground wire that came out of, of all things, a used torpedo (Dad works at a company that tests navy prototypes :) )

#12, haha. I've got a 3" to 2" reducing elbow pipe in my smoker out back that was designed to be part of the cooling system for a nuclear reactor. |

Well, after the mysterious engine dying incident, Dad and I bypassed every filter and junction in the fuel system, and put in a new pump, and it seems happy again, so , knock on wood, I think it's fixed |
